• The different branches help maintain foot health, as the varying thickness and texture of the branches, unlike the uniform rods in cages, prevent the degeneration of their feet.

• Chewing on wood provides a sense of security and personal satisfaction and promotes mental health. Wood chewing occupies the parrot and helps prevent excessive preening (which could lead to feather plucking).

A wooden stand is decorative, more natural, beautiful, and blends into the home like any other piece of furniture.

The choice of wood is determined by two factors:

1. It must be safe for the parrot to chew on. The wood should be non-toxic and free from any sprays.

2. It must be strong and durable over the years, not soft wood that the parrot can destroy quickly.

Each stand is unique and handmade after an initial consultation with the customer, tailored to their needs. The preparation process involves planning, preparing the necessary branches, disinfecting them, and the actual construction, usually taking between one to three weeks.

Please note, for large stands that do not fit into a standard car, delivery arrangements will need to be made.
