Hi, my name is Barkat! It’s a pleasure to meet you. I have been raising and caring for animals for over a decade.
I began my career as a graphic designer, but I soon realized that my true calling was somewhere I felt completely at home... alongside animals. I graduated with honors in the fields of animal care and petting zoo management, business administration, veterinary technician studies, and completed studies at the Israel Kennel Club’s educational academy. Today, I am living my dream to the fullest and doing what I love most.
It has always been important to me to emphasize proper care and maintenance, with the well being of the animals as my top priority. To me, the bond between a person and an animal is truly magical built on respect, love, and a genuine passion for the field.
Today, my animals and I live peacefully on our family farm in a moshav, where I dedicate my time and love to caring for them.
I specialize in raising hand-fed and hand-tamed parrots, as well as rabbits and reptiles.
I own a professional exotic animal boarding facility and a well-established, carefully maintained purebred herding-dog kennel, recognized as one of the finest in Israel, following the import of exceptional bloodlines from the United States and Europe.
I am active on social media and enjoy sharing my knowledge in order to help others provide the best possible care and upbringing for their animals.
